Sometimes life throws you a curve ball and you feel like you are going to lose your mind. You find that you can’t eat anything and you can’t sleep all night. With sleepless nights comes the lack of focus, bad mood and over all lack of energy. You come to the point where you don’t know how to save yourself.

You don’t know how you are ever going to make it.

If you ever find yourself in this situation, just know that you are not alone. Someone, somewhere in the world has gone through what you have and has survived. Start by taking deep breaths and keep going until you start to feel better. Here are some ways to get you back to the inner fit self you were:

Talk to someone. It always helps to talk it out. If you don’t have someone to talk to, chances are there is some counselling offered in your community. There are a number of services that can help you out.

Go do a good cardio workout. There is nothing like a sweat to calm your nerves. So instead of reaching for unhealthy foods, go workout.

Fuel yourself with healthy foods that will give you energy. Now more than anything you need your energy.

Keep yourself busy with positive activities and hobbies. Do something that you like to do and that will make you feel better.

You are your own best friend and no-one can make you fit inside, but you. You will make it and you will be happy!
