Pretty Polishes for Valentine’s Day

Whether you love or hate the holiday, we have nail polish for however you’re feeling this Valentine’s Day.

Deborah Lippmann Bitches Brew

A sexier take on the usual red, this deep berry hue is laced with a faint shimmer that sparkles as it moves. Layer on two coats to get the most out of the witchy hue.

OPI Happy Anniversary

This metallic silver is made with ultra fine glitter that sparkles like fresh snow. Layer it over a boring neutral or apply several coats and wear it solo. It also works well for creating details: Try a fun twist on the usual French tip or a half moon at the cuticle.

Essie Getting Groovy

Drop a hint about that jewel you’ve been wanting with this almost-as-shiny gold polish. The shimmering metallic shines on its own, but also pairs well with deep hues like maroon and navy. Swipe on a sheer coat over a solid base colour for just a slight sparkle or try your hand at nail art with a solid line down the centre.

Smith & Cult Gay Ponies Dancing in the Snow

This lovable clear polish is saturated with super fine silver and (mostly) pink glitter. Wear it on its own or try using heart stickers as a stencil. After your base coat is dry, place a heart sticker where you want it, then brush the pink sparkles over top and remove the sticker with tweezers.

NCLA Heartbreaker

If Valentine’s Day really isn’t your thing and you’d rather show that side to the world, try this darker take on glitter. Filled with black glitter specks and white hearts, you can wear it on bare nails for a more subtle look or wear it over jet black to really make a statement.
