Start Your Monday With a Cardio Machine Workout
Here is a raining day workout you can do at home if you own a cardio machine. It’s great sometimes to stay in and workout while you catch up on your shows. You can use the below program on any cardio machine.
Your will need: comfortable clothing and running shoes.
Total Workout Time: 20 Minutes
5 minutes: Warm up at a comfortable pace and keep the resistance/speed low 4 RPE
3 minutes: Increase resistance/speed 1-4 increments or until you’re working harder than your warm up pace. You should feel you’re working, but you should be able to carry on a conversation. This is your baseline pace 5 RPE
2 minutes: Increase your resistance/speed once again until you’re working slightly harder than baseline 5-6 RPE
3 minutes: Decrease resistance/speed back to baseline 5 RPE
2 minutes: Increase your resistance/speed once again until you’re working slightly harder than baseline 5-6 RPE
5 minutes: Decrease resistance/speed back to a comfortable level to cool down 4 RPE
Stretch: all the major muscles of your body. Holding each stretch for 20-30 seconds each.
