Summer Fun for the Family!
Summer is a great to get outdoors and enjoy all the amazing things the GTA has to offer. With festivals, happening weekly (many which are free), it is actually hard to pick and choose what to go to.
I love exploring and doing things different things with my daughter. From splash pads to the zoo, there are many activities that the entire family can enjoy. As parents, we love seeing our little ones light up to new adventures!
Here are some ideas on what you and little ones can do over the summer:
Theatre:
The Toronto Fringe Festival is a great place to take your children for some activities and some great theatre! Check out Fringe Kids!

There are other amazing places to take the kids and they include Centre Island, Canada’s Wonderland, CNE and The Zoo. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools are also great and are open throughout the summer. Simple adventures like picnics in the park and just going for a bike ride is wonderful!
One of the best parts about summer is the number of local community events that happen – from BBQs to watching movies outdoors. Check with your local community listings to find out what’s happening next!
Finally, with whatever you choose to do, don’t forget to have fun with your little kids and enjoy those very precious moments. J
