FALL Beauty Looks Inspired By the Stars
Tips To Get You Red Carpet Glam
Between TIFF, the Emmy’s and of course Fashion Month, we have gotten so much Fall Beauty inspiration from the stars and I wanted to share a few of the signature beauty looks that are big for this season — and that I personally love because they work so well on a wide range of skin tones and types — something for everyone!
THE GLOW
(As seen on Jennifer Lopez at TIFF and Zendaya & Angela Bassett at the Emmys)
This look is also called the ‘ post-facial glow’ because at the various Fashion Weeks you would encounter skin care experts literally giving express facial massages to models before sending them to the glam squads. In many instances, makeup took a back seat to skincare — a sure sign that the natural look is coming back strong.
My mantra is always put the biggest investment into the core — and when it comes to beauty, that is your skincare. Before you even dab a douse of makeup, think about your skincare regimen. Achieving that vibrant ‘glow’ has a lot to do with moisturized, hydrated skin.
The Alumier EverActive C+E + Peptide serum is an ideal product for helping to achieve this, and the really cool thing about this is that you have complete control to activate when you’re ready to use the product, so the L-absorbic acid never starts to oxidize while sitting on the shelf waiting to be purchased. Not only is it great for promoting healthy collagen, but works as an antioxidant, provides anti-inflammatory support and brightening.

Then comes the make-up! Apply a bronzer to the edges of your face like a halo — Tom Ford’s Bronzing Powder in Gold Dust or the Huda Beauty 3D Highlighter Palette are good picks — but truly it comes down to your skincare to get that glow.
ALL ABOUT THE POUT
(Seen on Jessica Biel & Priyanka Chopra at TIFF and Kerry Washington & Jameela Jalil at the Emmys)
Pantone’s Fall 2019 colours include Merlot, Biking Red, Cranberry and Summer Fig, all gorgeous shades for deep and dramatic lips. It’s no surprise that a variation on these deep wine-red as well as berry shades also showed up on the lips of various models all across the different fashion weeks. During TIFF we saw these bright hues on stars from Priyanka Chopra to Jessica Biel and so many others in both matte and gloss as well some more muted and subtle options. One of my absolute favourite liquid lipsticks is by Indigenous brand Cheekbone Beauty, which offers so many colours perfect for this Fall, including some really pretty, softer shades too.
But just like skin, before putting on a touch of colour, there’s a secret weapon to creating those luscious Lips – and that is a bold moisturizing lip treatment.
I have been using the Arbonne Botaniques Vanilla Lip Therapy Set lately and absolutely loving the results. First of all, the scent is amazing, but it is a serious double threat. The lip smoother with coconut fruit extract laced with vanilla flavour provides gentle exfoliation. And then follow it up with the moisturizing lip salve formulated with shea butter, coconut oil, and a vanilla flavour, and it gives you the most perfectly kissable pout. Customers can purchase directly through the website at Arbonne.com or through an Arbonne Independent Consultant .
I am one of the last people to be happy to see the summer go, but I have to admit, with all this gorgeous Fall Beauty, I’m feeling pretty good about sitting pretty this Fall.
