Hidden Figures – The Story of Determination, Strength and Empowerment

Oscar Nominated Film Hidden Figures is now available on Digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD

Hidden Figures was one of the most talked about movies of the last year. The Oscar nominated film showcases the challenges, struggles and victories of three female mathematicians working in a segregated section labelled “Black Computers” at NASA in the 1960’s.

This real-life story tells the tale of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe), strong beautiful women who beat the odds, shook things up, and played key roles in major space exploration missions. These brilliant African-American women were the brains behind one of the most electrifying projects of the ‘Space race’ – the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire the world and generations to dream big.
